D-Day Beach Landing Bookmark
At dawn on the 6th of June 1944, D-Day, soldiers began landing on the beaches of Normandy under heavy fire from gun emplacements. Obstacles such as wooden stakes, metal tripods, and barbed wire, made the landing more difficult and dangerous. It was the largest seaborne invasion in history.
This solid brass bookmark is electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, with a giclée print. Measures approx. 1.25 in. x 3.5 in.
